what a lovely city....
Fish for tea anyone?
An "internally displaced persons camp." These things are huge. This is one on the road out to Metinaro. There are these all over the city too, they look a little different and huge amounts of people live in them.
Baskettown kids...
I'm supposed to be smiling at the camera but I was a little more focused on the drop behind me and the crazy taxi's coming towards me from the right!
Ok, now I can smile at the camera!
(See Dili behind me.)
Look closely you can see a cross on top of the island... they love putting big crosses on top of all high points.
General Dili humdrum. the motorbike in front has:
Dad driving with a child on his lap...child behind him between he and mum and mum on the back sitting side saddle. Least mum had a helmet on! And we cruise past in a Prado with Charli in a safety seat in the back. And they think we're just crazy malai.
Pure Dili..... wanting to make sure they got it right for the malai (foreigner)customers they put both options on.....
